Busy Little Bees

Where has time gone? It's been weeks since I have sat down to upload pictures and update all my family and friends with what has been going on with us! I still can't believe we are a family of four.

In just six short weeks Zach and I will only be celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary. It seems like yesterday we were planning our wedding and in just the last four years we have traveled the world, bought two houses, added two beautiful & healthy children to our family, and have fallen more in love with each other then the day we got married.  We have made some good choices and some not so good ones but the most important thing is that we have done life together ... the good and not so good.  It really is so crazy how far we have come in such a short time. Zach is still working with the state of California and I am still loving being a stay at home mommy. We are both having fun participating on the leadership team with our churches young married couples group Adventures In Marriage. Last month we had a Sadie's Hawkins dance night and had the chance to ride a mechanical bull together.... so much fun.

Zach and I are loving living in our "fixer".  We have a new project all the time and that's just the way we like it. Zach is so handy and it's really fun to watch him create such neat things for our home. Right now our current project is fixing our backyard. I know just over a year ago we got an amazing backyard face lift but we needed to change a few things and update the side yard to allow for a more functional backyard. We are getting rid of a lot of the bark in the back yard and laying down grass. This will be much better for all the summer fun we plan on having!

Kourtney is now 2 1/2 ..... CRAZY!!!!!  She is funnier, smarter, and more cute then she has ever been. She is saying one or two new words everyday and it is so fun to hear her say so many things. She is our little social butterfly. She loves playing with other kids and really excels in social places. We are considering starting her in preschool this fall even though she is a little young just because we know she would truly thrive in a social environment.

The best thing is hearing her say "Baby Me-um" She loves her little brother soooo much :)

Liam is now 11, almost 12 weeks old. This also is CRAZY!!!! He took his first airplane ride with me to CT  two weeks ago to meet his great grandma Larson and spend Mother's Day with my mom and me. It was a great weekend. We did nothing but hang out and relax. Perfect. Just perfect. It was great to see my mom and grandma. Liam also got to spend time with my aunt Selma who was surprised Liam wasn't crawling already. LOL. She did try her hardest to get him to start spelling while we were there and hopefully some of that rubbed off since neither Zach or I are very good at spelling. Liam was doing really well with his sleeping until a few weeks ago when he got his shots and we traveled. The last few weeks have been a little tough but I hope to find a way to get him sleeping again soon.

Our family of four is slowly starting to seem normal. Small things that used to be easy are a little bit more tricky with two. Grocery shopping is probably the hardest of them. We used to like to go together and now it seams easiest  for one of us to just go after the kids have gone to sleep. Packing to leave the house feels like it takes 20min even just to get gas. Thankfully we only have one in diapers but Kourtney still needs a extra change of clothes just in case. She is doing so good but when she has a bad day it's just a bad day and we got to be prepared. It is amazing though all the things I did or thought I needed with Kourtney that this time around to be so much easier and with so many less "things". Babies really need clean dry clothes, boobs, and love :) Everything else isn't as important as it seams when you are prego with your first child. But, I guess that's like everything in life ..... you live and you learn.

Fitness Update! Zach and I have overhauled our lifestyle since Liam was born. We both are generally healthy and active but we are now six weeks into our twelve week shred! Bye bye baby pounds, skin, cravings, workouts and late night sweets. Hello new fabulous fit mommy and daddy Clements! We are eating really clean and making sure we fit in our workouts. So far we are on track for our goals and can't wait to share our before and after pictures. :)

Kourtney as a big sister? How is she doing? She is doing great. The first few weeks were a hard adjustment but now she is so cute and such a good helper. I love watching them together, it makes my heart smile so big! I was most nervous about her potty training since people told me I would want to put her back in diapers as she would regress BUT that's not the case she's doing great with that. She is the most rocky if daddy is holding Liam then she wants whatever Liam is getting. If we are feeding him she is "hun-gy" (how she says hungry), if he is getting swaddled she wants to get swaddled. If he gets a paci, she wants a paci. It's cute .... really cute 90% of the time. She has picked up that when he crys we give him attention so it's not a lot that she does this but once a week or so he will be crying and we will both be attending to him and BAM all of a sudden she starts crying her eyes out.... At first we both kinda laughed because it's obvious what she's doing but sometimes it's not so funny when it happens in the car at the end of a long day. But what can you do but breath deep and move forward.

Pictures...pictures...pictures..... Here we go.... ( I have thousands so it's hard to jsut pick one or two!)

Hopefully I will be on top of updating my blog now :) Hope you enjoyed!
