First Steps

First steps.... that is what this blog post is all about. We have been so busy we really haven't had a chance to do anything never mind sort photos and make a blog post about our overly busy lives.

A quick update about us..

Kourtney:  In her 2nd year of preschool. Mrs. Willets class. Loves painting and playing at parks. She is such a bright and beautiful little girl. She cleans her room all by herself and helps mommy with Liam's diapers and laundry. Later this month she will turn 4! Crazy!
Her best friend is Charli Elcock and she prays for all her friends and family every night before bed.

Liam: Our sweet little man will be 20 months in two days and is keeping us busy. He is into everything and has a lot of energy. He is starting to like coloring and playing with his kitchen. He talks so much and has so many words for his age. He loves running, jumping, and climbing anywhere he can get to before we tell him not to. He is a great eater and will at almost anything. He weighs 31lbs and wears 2t clothes. He loves basketball and I sure hope Santa brings him a hoop :)

Zach: Dreaming of building a winery and loving taking Kourtney on dates. Working from home three days a week really allows us the best home life. He loves the relaxing work schedule and flexible atmosphere. He is part of a group of guys starting a sandals company to raise money for girls who are being saved from trafficking.

Me:  Living the dream except for at about 5pm..when the whole house seems to need me and only me. Its great to feel loved but also incredibly crazy at our house from dinner time until bed time. However we are lucky to have two good sleepers who go to sleep at 7pm. Which gives Zach and I lots of adult time at night. We have two new babysitters now and are going back out on dates once a week. Aaaahhhh one happy wife/mom.  I love our time away from our kids as it gives us time to be great together and in turn be great parents. I'm really happy that I married my best friend and that I still love just being with him no matter what we are doing.  I am training for a full marathon in Dec. My last full as the training takes up so much family time. I will stick to just half marathons. I can train and run those without to much effort and I have so much fun running them!

Family news: We just went back to MN to say goodbye to my grandpa on my dads side. What an amazing man. Almost 95 years old and married for 73 years! Gad he went to rest in heaven and I can't wait to see him again someday! Love you grandpa!
