Crazy Legs

I know I already posted this am but I really wanted to share these videos!!!

My barely 7 month old baby has some really strong legs.  I am having so much fun watching her as she changes everyday! I do kinda wish this process would slow down a little bit!

Here are a few short videos showing her progress from crawling to walking.

San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico 2011

June 2011 ~ Baby Kourtney's first trip out of the USA!!!

Mexico was so much fun. We needed this fun in the sun break after a long pregnancy and an exhausting first few months with our new little baby. Kourtney did such a great job on this trip. She traveled well and helped her mommy and daddy be able to relax. We stayed in San Jose Del Cabo which is located about 20min up the beach from downtown Cabo San Lucas. We stopped in Cabo San Lucas on one of our cruises before and loved it so we thought we'd try a different part of Mexico for this trip. We went to Mexico in the "off" season if you will. Which was really nice because our hotel was empty and we had great service and could sit anywhere on the beach. It was also really nice because we were less stressed about whether or not Kourtney was going to bother other people trying to relax. That in turn really allowed Zach and I to relax and enjoy our time together. Our sweet baby loves the pool and swimming.

Here is a great video of Zach & Kourtney's 1st water Ballet show :)

We relaxed by the pool and explored around our hotel for most of our trip. We did venture off to a time share presentation to get a free dinner cruise, free airport transfers, and free food during one day of our trip. Here are a few pictures of the hotel we visited and Kourtney relaxing in the shade while Zach and I got to tan.

We went on a sunset dinner cruise on Monday night that took us out by the famous arches. It was a blast. We had great food, talked with really nice people, and got to get a close up of the arch. We also learned that every four years for about 4 weeks you can actually walk under the arch. The rest of the time it is covered in water. This was a random fact that we thought was really cool to get to see :) During our stay in Cabo they were having a few tropical storms off the coast so it was at times a little windy. Hot but it felt nice with the wind. Something a little weird must have been happening in the water because we started seeing all these dead fish. Although we heard lots of stories as to why it was happening, we feel it was most likely due to water temperature change from the storms. But, that too is just a guess. Here are a few pictures from the boat trip.

I took a few random shots while we were out and about that I love. Here are a few of those pictures and a few shots of our hotel :)

That's all for now :)

New Video Camera

Zach and I got a new video camera a few weeks ago and I am having so much fun capturing all the cute little moments. I probably can slow down a little, or maybe I'll just delete the repetitive videos later as my collection grows! I just wanted to post this little clip I took of Kourtney this morning tearing up her exersaucer and new cup that she can't drink out of but loves chewing on. (Thanks mom)

Thank Goodness it's Summer!!! Finally!!!

Kourtney and I took the BOB out today for a run. It was so fun. I think she loves being pushed in the strollers. She looks all around and loves the wind in her face. We ended up running about 4 miles, not far, but the farthest I have ran since I had her! It feels good to finally be doing more then a mile :) It was also really nice to have the sun be out. How inspiring to run along the creek with the birds chirping and the sun shining. What a great start to our day.

I am trying to beef up our dinners (no, not with beef). Just find new things to eat, so  if any of you have a good recipe to share please do!!!! I love almost anything. The one thing I don't want to eat is mushrooms.

I can't believe Kourtney is already crawling. It is so crazy, I just want to cuddle her and keep her a baby. Today I saw her lifting her back legs up all the way like a Downward Dog pose in yoga! Crazy! She is so strong. Must be the good milk! hehe :)

Speaking of milk. Breastfeeding is still going really well. It is nice being home because I don't feel stressed about if I pumped, when do I need to pump next, and how much I am producing. A big stress relief! I actually am really enjoying breastfeeding now. The first 6 weeks were brutal but I am finally starting to see why people praise it so much! Thank God!

Mexico in ONE WEEK!!! We can't wait to get Baby K out on the beach in Cabo! It is going to be a much needed break for our little family of three :) The swimsuit part I am not all that thrilled about but Zach and I have been doing P90X at night for about a month now so that's helping a little with the toning! One week, one week, one week!!!!

Last weekend we also started a group date night with all the young couples in our family. Super fun night out at Cafeteria 15L & MIX. We can't wait until the next one :)

:) Till next time :)

Kourtney Crawling

Well I think I can officially call it a crawl now. The past two weeks she has been working ever so hard on her army crawl and now I think shes got the arms and legs in sync. UH-OH!!!!! Time to make sure things are all out of reach! I know... I know.... I probably should have done it already but I have been a slacker. This week I am on it! Safe house for our Sweet Baby K, coming right up!
