The 3 day potty experience was well just that an experience.......
We started on Monday of this week since Zach had it off and worked form home Tuesday and Wednesday.
We followed this three day potty training however I read a lot of the three day ones and they are all the same basic concepts. This specific one came recommended to us by a couple of our friends and so we were sold.

Three days in a small room cleaning up pee pee and poop all day. Talking about the potty, reading the potty, singing about the potty....You get the idea.
We followed this plan pretty closely except we left day three at night to go to a church event. She did well that night however. We left right after she went to the potty and put her on the potty when we got there and she went. She was fine while we were there(only about an hour) then she tried before we left and made it home without a accident.
So I kept a little chart to see how she was doing and what day she exactly has started to figure out the whole process. Kourtney still can't say pee pee, poop, or potty and we are rounding out day 5. But today was her best day and we are really excited that it kind of seemed to click for her tonight.
Here is her results:
Day 1-
Accidents - 7 Wins- 3 (The poop was one of these so I should count it as two)
Day 2- The worst day and people told me it would be. They were right!
Accidents - 6 Wins- 1 (Again it was the poop so that was at least nice for us cleanup anyway)
Day 3-
Accidents- 2 Wins- 4
End of day three I was feeling really discouraged and wanting to just go back to diapers. Everyone told me to keep going and not give up. So I did and day 4 was a little better. Since its not super warm here decided to just let her go around the house in underwear, socks, and a shirt. Before this she has just been naked. I think she like being able to wear her big girl undies and I think for us it is the ticket to winning. She seems to really like to pull them up and pull them down. This might just be what helped her click. She woke up dry from her 2 hour nap on day 4 ...really impressed me. Today day five was her best day. She had 6 wins on the potty and only 2 pee accidents all day. Including waking up dry from her nap :)
We decided to just do a diaper or as we call it "night panties" at night and let her just wear big girl undies during her nap. She has woke up dry the past two days from her nap so that was really great. Today we had a play date with Lilly & Meg and even took a long car ride to Elk Grove to see baby Khloe during rush hour. She did really well on the car ride. We stopped at Costco to bring them dinner and she used our travel potty and peed right away as soon as we got out of the car. Made it to there house and back to our house without a accident. We put her on the potty when we got home and she went again. I think she is starting to get the hang of it! Yay!
Love my little girl and I will keep you posted on how it goes from here. I do have to say though that if you are thinking about starting potty training the best advice I have is really clear your schedule and do so for like a week. Small errands after the first three days but I think the real success takes more then three days. Especially if you are able to just stay at home even though its really hard mentally. I would just tough it out. Patients and consistency also were key ingredients :)
Wrapping up this post (day 6) She woke up this morning with a dry night diaper! So excited for her and us! I know the night diaper will probably be the hardest sell but I am excited just to see her little body and mind starting to get the hang of it.
Thanks Danielle for all your extra advice :)
