It's almost the end of the month already and I haven't even posted yet. This month has gone by quick as our 13 month old baby has kept us quite busy. I can't believe that just a year ago I had a little baby that was just learnign to see and now I have a baby that is rockin'and rollin'.
This past month has been so much fun for as as Kourtney is becoming a strong walker and moves around like crazy. We have found people told us how hard it would be to keep up with her once she started walking but I have really embraced it. She really lights up a room with her smile and who could really not love watching her walk. She loves reading or I guess I should say being read to. It is just now in this last month that I feel she really knows whats going on with us when we read to her. I will be sitting on the couch and she will carry a book over to me and put her arms up like she wants to be picked up. I love it, it really is so sweet. She got a soccer ball for Christmas from Santa and she throws it around the house like it's no problem. I think she definitely got her daddy's big muscles :) She has been eating more and more table foods. I can't really seam to get her to eat pasta of any kind much which I feel is weird. I thought all kids like pasta. She does like little bite size pancakes and baked veggie strips. She also like cereal a lot. I am guessing it is because she loves anything she can feed herself.
She still is sleeping really well. We put her down about 6:30-7pm and she (If I let her) sleeps until 8! Crazy. Although I have been waking her up at 7:30 because if I don't she wont take a nap, and man that nap is essential for her mood being good in the later afternoon. The mommy break is nice too :)
Her favorite room in the house is the bathroom and has been for some time now.
Her favorite food is fruit loops.
Her favorite time is bath time.
Her new skill this month is picking up anything and everything she can carry and carry it around the house like a muscle woman.
Her favorite noise or noises are the dinosaur "grrrrrrawer" and "huh" and "da".
Things she likes to do with dad: Read and play blocks.
Things she likes to do with mom: Dance party and snuggle.
Kourtney is really friendly and loves being around other adults and kids. She also really likes Matt & Nicole's dogie Gracie. :)
Zach and I are well also. Doing the fun things to the house now like painting and decorating. Zach this last weekend built some really nice built-in shelves for our master bathroom :) We are planning our first 4 day getaway w/o Kourtney for Jan 31st-Feb3rd to Cancun Mexico. Although I will miss my little bundle of love very very very much. I am also equally as excited to spend some alone time with my husband :) We are going with his buddy Matt and his wife Nicole.
Well this seams like quite the update for now ..... <3
